Federal Donuts, a beloved Philadelphia eatery celebrated for its extraordinary donuts and fried chicken has plans to significantly expand nationally. Our ask was to evolve the brand to prepare for growth and introduction to new markets while clearly conveying the brand’s unique menu.
An extensive research and discovery process paved the way for a refined brand strategy, leading to the decision to rebrand as “Federal Donuts & Chicken.” This name change was accompanied by a new logo and an evolved brand aesthetic, strategically designed to highlight both their sweet and savory offerings. The brand shift was first implemented throughout their current Philadelphia locations and in the recently launched Las Vegas location, with plans for a nationwide rollout.
The outcomes have proven promising, as the new brand elements have been warmly embraced in both Las Vegas and Philadelphia, including their new flagship store in the Whitman neighborhood of Philadelphia.
